Charting our Expansion in Rural Guinea: Mamou

Great news - since the winter, Clinic+O’s Guinea team and operations have expanded into several new communities, and accelerated our impact with the support of new partners.

In Mamou, a region in mid-Guinea, we hired, trained, and equipped 30 Community Health Workers  (CHWs) - and in January alone we were able to onboard 1,000+ patients, providing rapid tests for COVID, malnutrition, blood glucose, and malaria. 

We are especially grateful for our partners in the Guinea Ministry of Health and at FIND, the global alliance for diagnostics, who have helped Clinic+O expand our capabilities and integrate rapid testing into our protocol.

Our CHWs now have the ability to perform rapid tests, record the results, and deliver treatment in less than an hour for patients who would otherwise have no access to care.
